At Ellinopoula, we believe that Greek language learning is best done while having fun. Language acquisition requires a high level of personal involvement in terms of time and attention; therefore, we select TV series in Greek that are both engaging and entertaining, in order to capture and sustain children’s attention for optimal language learning.
Fun is a key component in kids’ learning; however, a TV series’ popularity isn’t the only factor we consider when selecting content. Engaging children in interactive and active learning is one of our platform’s core components. Our team of educationists screens and selects appropriate material to match each program’s objective such as interactivity, safety and fundamental human values.
Apart from screening out violent and other non-suitable material for kids, we select Greek-speaking TV series and content which revolves around timeless values and themes, such as friendship, team spirit, exploration & discovery, conflict resolution, competition, forgiveness, and others which capture kids’ attention, leading to more meaningful and effective learning.
Such TV series include: The Smurfs, DinoSquad, Caillou, Horseland, Strawberry Shortcake and Madeline, all in Greek language.
